Applications will be reviewed for compatibility with the Mission: K-9 mission, vision and focus.  If approved, most requests will be filled on a first come, first serve basis as funds permit.  Consideration will be given to area of residence in relation to source of funds.  Example:  Officers living in Virginia will receive priority consideration when equipment is purchased with funds donated from Virginia residents.  Likewise, officers living in California will receive priority consideration when equipment is purchased with funds donated from California residents.  Therefore, if we are able to generate support from your local community, we will be able to fulfill your request much more quickly.
